In view of the increasing complexity in the tile & natural stone installation sector, with developments

of new ceramic tiles & natural or artificial stones of varied physical properties, coupled with new

development in general construction material & technology Manewtech-BELLE Sdn Bhd foresee the

importance of a technical department that is an authority which is knowledgeable and experience in

this field. Thus the BELLE Technical Advisory -Specification Service Department was setup in 1990

to ease the burden placed on Specifiers & Builders, where the installation of ceramic tile & natural /

artificial stone is concerned.

The main function of the Technical Advisory -Specification Service Department is :

• To provide Written & Verbal Technical Specification / Advice on the most appropriate tile or natural stone

installation system, based on specific condition of the job within the framework provided by the

Specifiers & Builders.

• To provide Technical Seminar & Application Training on the current & latest tiling system to the

Specifiers, Builders & End-Users.

• To promote Good Principles of ceramic tile & natural stone installation as described in the British

Standards BS 5385 : Part 1-5 & Malaysian Standards MS 1294 : Part 1-4.

Backed by the Research & Development Department, BELLE Technical Advisory-Specification

Service Department is fully equip to meet the varied requirements of current tiling trends. With its fully

computerized specification system the department is able to produce written specifications as and when

required, where all written specification are specifically designed to meet the requirements of the specific

job. This service is made available to all Specifiers, Builders & End-Users whose main interest is the long term

stability of the tiles & stones installed; ensuring that no long term maintenance cost is incurred and safety to
